_ The 2019 Shamrock Shuffle 5K/10K:
Join us for the 30th year for the Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 10K in Lawrence!
Both races begin at Johnny’s Tavern in North, 401 North 2nd in Lawrence, KS at 9AM on Saturday, March 2, 2019. The 5K event will be run on the river levee while the 10K route will be available at http://lawrencestpatricksdayparade.com/5Krun.html. After enjoying your run, you can enjoy a traditional Irish Breakfast inside Johnny’s Tavern in Lawrence. There will be participation awards for both events as well as age group, overall and Masters awards. Come and enjoy the Irish shenanigans, wear your green and help support two of Lawrence’s youth organizations, the Lawrence Children’s Choir and Lawrence Youth Football. The St. Patrick’s Day Committee started in 1988 and over the years has donated over $1 million to Lawrence youth charities. The Shamrock Shuffle is one of the many fundraisers for the committee
