Block off your Saturday evening for a trip to Rock Creek in Dawsonville, GA.

We've got the entire park, and we've set up Christmas Lights all along the 5K course.  You can even dress up in your favorite Christmas outfit.

We'll have great music & great fun at the finish line...hot chocolate, smores, everything that makes a great Christmas event.

We'll also have long sleeve shirts for everyone and award medals for the top participants.

*All participants registered by 12/9 are guaranteed their shirt.  Afterwards, shirts will be available while supplies last.

Since this is a fundraiser, you can do a little extra, and help the cause.  

If you become a Fundraiser and raise $200, and you can race free.

Event Beneficiary

This event is for the Dawson County High School Chorus.  All proceeds go directly to the chorus to help pay for programming.

Virtual Race

Can't make it out to the event site on race day?  

Still want to participate and have a shot at an award?

Or Maybe your just in love with the shirt or the cause?

Then the virtual race is for you.

Here's how it works.

1.  Register for the Virtual division
2. Start Training
3. The day before the race you'll recieve instructions & a link to submit your race time
4. Sumbit your race time by end of race day
5. The day after the race results (Virtual Runner division) will be posted online
6. Monday after the race you'll recieve an email with a link to the results & any pictures.
7. Monday after the race we'll package up all the T-shirts & medals and put them in the mail.

Finish Line Festival

The event is for the Chorus, so you're guaranteed to have some great music...we're also going to be bringing out all the Christmas lights, and serving up some holiday cheer with hot chocolate, smores, the whole thing to make it a load of fun.

Timing, Awards, & Swag

We'll be chip timing the start & finish, so you're guaranteed to get a great net time.

Awards medals will be given out as follows:

• Overall Master's M/F
• Overall Grand Master's M/F
• Overall Senior Master's M/F
• Top 3 in all the usual 5 year age groups (10 & Under - 75+)

Swag:

• Great long sleeve shirts to all participants registered by 12/9.  Everyone registered afterwards will receive a shirt while supplies last.

Special Awards

Planning on dressing up? We'll have a prizes for that too.  We won't know exactly till we see everyone, but off the top of our heads, we can imagine...the ugliest Christmas Sweater, Best Elf, Most Christmasy, etc.

Five Star Championships & Turkey Trot

• All participants will automatically qualify for FREE entry into the 2019 Five Star Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. 

• Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the championships to be held in January 6, 2019. The number of spots available is based on the total registration...see event website for details.

Event Refund & Courtesy Policy

Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

All registrations are final.  There are no refunds, transfers, or deferments.

The event will take place rain or shine.  In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel the event in order to ensure the safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff.  There are no refunds in this case.
