_ The 2018 Santa Run:

Description

This year the City of Maricopa presents the 3rd Annual Santa Run 5k run / 1-mile walk. The Santa & Ugly Sweater Run will take place on the same day and prior to the Merry Copa Holiday Festival at Copper Sky Park on Saturday, December 1, 2018, with registration starting at 8 a.m. and the 5k run/ 1 mile walk from 9 a.m-10 a.m.

This fun family tradition allows you to celebrate the holiday season while running dressed as Santa, Santa's Helper or even wearing your favorite Ugly Sweater! Awesome give-a-ways and contests will be announced on the Facebook Event Page: Merry Copa Holiday Festival up to the day of the event, so please join to get all the details!

This event is limited to 100 Participants and they will receive the following items:

• A Full Santa Suit
• Jingles Bells to tie on their shoes or Bodies
• Commemorative limited edition Tree Ornament.
• Wrist Bands for activities for Merry Copa later that day
• Tickets for Hot Chocolate/Apple Cider at Merry Copa later that day

Ages 12 and under run for free - No registration required (Santa Costume, Jingle Bells, and Ornament not included). Registration and packet pick up will open at 8am and will be located at Ramada A near the Copper Sky Fishing Pond.

Any child under the age of 12 can participate for free. Santa Suits will be provided for registered participants only.

Strollers are allowed for the Santa Run at the participants own risk.

The City of Maricopa is not responsible for damage to any personal items before, during or after the Santa Run.
