_ The 2019 Vegan For A Weekend Run Fest:

We have all heard that a vegan lifestyle is a healthy lifestyle.  Some of us kind of shy away from things we don’t know too much about.  Our goal is simple...we want to introduce as many people as possible to a Weekend Run Eating Like A Vegan.  

This is the 1st part of a 3 part series we will have in 2019.  You will choose to go out on a short 1 Mile or 2 Mile walk / run first but the fun begins when you cross the finish line.  Each participant will get a swag back with a custom t-shirt, custom medal, recipes for a delicious and quick lunch and dinner on Saturday and recipes for a delicious breakfast, lunch & dinner on Sunday. Our sponsors and invited guest will also have giveaways for you.   We will also be inviting local restaurants and food trucks with vegan options to participate as well as vegan nutritionist onsite to answer questions you may have.  

See.....this is truly and event for all.  Those participants that have adopted a vegan lifestyle and would like to lend their experiences to others participating that day, please reach out to [email protected].

Event details and schedule

The parking lot next to the skating rink will be reserved for all vendors, sponsors back check etc.

Parking for participants will be located on the other side of the skating rink. We will have parking marshalls directing you where to park. 

Bib Pick Up will be at a location in DC to be announced on March 2nd and at 8:00am on the morning of the race at the race location.

The race will being at 9:30am

Restrooms are located at the start / finish line. 

The route is an out and back.  We will have music on the course and you will pick up your t-shirts and medals after your run.  

The vendors and sponsors will be onsite from 8am to 12pm.
