_ The 1st Annual Parvin Turkey Trot & 1-mile Fun Walk:
This year, Parvin State Park gets its own gobble gallop! Before stuffing yourself silly, bang out a 5K or take a 1 mile stroll in beautiful Parvin State Park among the fall leaves and crisp skies. The completely traffic-free course winds through the park trails, with great views of the surrounding woods and lake.
Stick around for some post race refreshments and awards. Then explore the park’s nooks and crannies before kicking off your holiday week. Gobble, gobble!
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee. The Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee was organized to promote the use of the park by the public and to educate visitors on its rich history and by providing volunteer support of labor and equipment to help maintain the park in a safe manner.
