The Cooperstown Triathlon, in it's 9th year. Sprint Triathlon for Individuals and Relay Teams of 2 or 3 people and AquaBike (for Individuals only). The race begins with an 800m swim in beautiful Otsego Lake. It is followed by an 18 mi bike ride through the rolling hills and beautiful countryside of the surrounding community. The race finishes with a 3.0 mi run which takes place within scenic Glimmerglass State Park New for 2019: Kids Triathlon. 11 & Under: Swim – 100 Meters, Bike – 3 Miles, Run – 1 Mile. Ages 12 – 17: Swim – 200 Meters, Bike – 6 Miles, Run – 1 Mile Age group awards and wave starts as follows: 16 & 17yr old, 14 & 15, 12 & 13, 10 & 11, 8 & 9, 6 & 7, 5 & UNDER. This is a USAT sanctioned event. All athletes must produce a valid USAT Annual Membership on race day along with photo ID or purchase a one-day license for $15 or $10 for Kids Annual Membership 17 & Under. Purchasing a one-day license during the registration process will save you time on race morning. Regardless, it will be available race day morning for purchase. There is no refund for this event. Held rain or shine.
