_ The 2018 USATri60-UCCS Indoor Triathlon:
The UCCS Gallogly Recreation and Wellness Center is hosting our annual Indoor Triathlon event again this year! UCCS Recreation was the first University in the nation to host the USATri60 program as a sanctioned USAT event in partnership with USA Triathlon. This event will provide an opportunity for beginners and experts alike to participate in a safe, fun and supportive environment. Begin with a 10-minute swim followed by a 30-minute stationary bike ride, and finish with a 20-minute run on a treadmill. Compete for fitness and fun or challenge yourself to a new personal best. No matter your skill level, you can participate without fear of falling behind because you'll be alongside your friends the whole time! Each participant will receive a USA Triathlon swim cap, drawstring backpack, t-shirt, goggles and finisher medal! The event will be held on Saturday, November 10th from 8am to 1pm or until the last heat of participants has competed.

Event details and schedule
The event in its entirety is held in the UCCS Recreation Center as a USAT sanctioned event. The swim takes place in the UCCS Recreation Center pool, which includes four 25-yard lanes. Participants will have 10 minutes to transition to the multipurpose studio, located to the left of the UCCS Recreation Center entrance, where they will complete the bike portion. Indoor bikes are outfitted with both cages and SPD pedals. Participants will have 10 minutes thereafter to move to the fitness center, located on the second floor of the facility, to complete the run portion on treadmills.
Waves
Heats will consist of 4 participants and there will be an overall male and female winner.

What To Bring
Participants are required to provide their own towel, swim suit, and biking and running shoes. Swim cap and goggles will be provided. Remember to bring your waivers and ID!
What To Wear
Swim suit attire is required for the swim portion of the USATri60. As for the biking and running/walking portions, it is recommended that you wear normal workout attire.
Parking
There will be FREE parking available at the Alpine Field parking garage located off Austin Bluffs on Stanton Rd.
Packet pick-up
Friday, November 9th: 10am-1pm and 4-6pm.
Check in and packet pick-up race day: 6:45am
