_ The 2018 Police in the Park 5K & Fun Run:

Join the Canton Police Department in a 5K run. 

This is a CERTIFIED, FLAT, FAST FUN run with cool shirts and awards.

The Canton Police Department would like you to run with them,

not from them. 

The 5K run will take place in the beautiful Etowah River Park/Heritage Park.  Police in the Park is an event to promote "Unity in our Community."

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Police in the Park 5K is the opening event for a day to promote "Unity in our Community."  So come for the run, and stay for the fun.  The run will start at 9:00 am, followed by the Kids Fun Run.  

From there...head over to Brown Park at 251 E. Marietta St.  The food and entertainment will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. There's something for everyone:  Kids Fun Run  Police Demonstrations  Jump Houses  Public Safety Vehicles  Food  Music  Entertainment for the kids.

Regular Registration

• Fun Run...$15

All registrations include a race shirt (guaranteed when you register by 10/14, registrations afterwards will receive a shirt while supplies last.

*Race day registrations are welcome for $5 additional

EVENT BENEFICIARY

Proceeds from the event go to a Police Fund; which provides support and funds for local families and individuals in times of need.

Due to course & space restrictions…the event is capped at 500.

COURSE & TIMING

Awesome super flat CERTIFIED course through Etowah River Park & Heritage Park using the paved trail and the walking bridge that connects them.  We'll be chip timing the start & finish, so you're guaranteed to get a great time you can use for the Peachtree.

EVENT COURTESY & REFUND POLICY

• Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.  
• All registrations are final.  There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
• Event will take place rain or shine.  In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
