2011 Tie-Dye Triathlon:

  • The 10th Annual Tie-Dye Tri is scheduled for Sunday, September 25th.
  • Registration is limited to the first 300.
  • Registration fees are $45 for USAT Members or $55 for Non-USAT Members which includes the required $10 one-day license fee.
  • Registrations received between September 1st and 6pm September 23rd will include a late fee of $10.
  • There are no race day registrations
  • Transition opens at 5:30am / closes at 7am.
  • Check-in opens at 6:30am
  • Packet pick-up is on race day only
  • We have always registered the maximum number of participants, so register early!
  • This is a fund raising event benefiting the Cleveland County Family YMCA Financial Assistance Program. Funds raised assist children, families and seniors to purchase programs, after school child care and membership fees.

    • Course Information:


    This is a chip timed event.
  • The Tie-Dye Tri is a 500 Yard Snake Swim staggared at 15 second intervals (indoor pool).
  • Followed by a 12 Mile Bike.
  • Finish with a 5K Run.

    • Directions:


    The Cleveland County Family YMCA is located at 1350 Lexington Avenue in Norman, OK.

  • Traveling south bound on I-35 from Oklahoma City, take the Flood Street exit. Travel south on Flood turning right on Lexington Avenue (exit is right next to a water tower). Transition is located at the East end of the Y parking lot.

  • Traveling north (south of Norman) take the Robinson Street exit east bound. Travel east bound on Robinson, turning left (north) on Berry Road. Turn left at the stop sign. Turn right on Halley Avenue. Transition is located at the East end of the Y parking lot.
