_ The 2019 Real MTB Triathlon:

The REAL Mountain Bike Triathlon 

The REAL Mountain Bike Triathlon will have a $3,200 prize purse for Pro and Amateur athletletes in 2019. 

The race will award $100 to each male and female winner of each group from Age group division from 19-under to 70+. There will be a $500 first place, $250 second place, and $150 third place prize for the top three overall male and female finishers in our Open division. 

Included with your race entry is a safe, fantastic and very well marked course, a post race hot meal, raffle prizes, awards five-deep in each age group, and a REAL MTB Finisher Souvenir. 

The race starts with a one-mile swim in Folsom Lake, water temperature around 60 degrees. Wetsuits are permitted for all athletes. The 24-mile bike course on single track trails around the lake is three loops with mixed terrain of single track, downhills, climbs, sand, and packed decomposed granite. The 5-mile run has a mix of trails and roads - along with some fun hills.

Relay Teams for The REAL Mountain Bike Triathlon consist of one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner. Entry fee includes three finisher souvenirs, athlete goody bags and post race meals. Awards for Relay Teams will be first overall in Male, Female and Coed divisions.

Awards for The REAL MTB Triathlon will be given FIVE-deep in each ten-year age group and division. Relay Team awards will be for the Top team in each Division of Male, Female and Coed.

Packet pick-up will be available at the race site on race morning from 7 am to 9 am.

TBF Training will be conducting Mountain Bike Camps that will focus on advancing your riding skills and confidence specifically for The Real MTB Triathlon. Each five-hour clinic is only $60 with more information at: www.tbftraining.com.

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week.
