_ The 2019 Century Experience Ride:
Choose from 100, 75 or 50 mile route options. There will be a King and Queen of the Mountain compititon on two climbs with a 7% grade. Four different age groups, under 30, 30 - 44, 45 - 59, 60 plus, Men's and Women's. You can only win one climb, jersey sizes will be according to first come first server per registration date. You must post your STRAVA times by Monday 6/17 winners will be announce 6/18.
Over 10,000 feet of elevation gain. You do not have to compete for K/Q of Mountain, this is a fundraiser for Mountain Top Cycling Club a 501(c)3 non-profit. If you would like to compete you must have a one day USA license if you do not already have one. The higher registration fee of $10.00 will be used to purchase that license for you.
All traffic laws must be obeyed, all on paved roads. Helmets are required. This is a fully supported event with 5 rest stops. These rest stops will be managed by non-proft organizations that will be benefiting financially from Mountain Top Cycling Club.
Event details and schedule
Start location will be 11984 Co Rd. 1, same as last year. Camping is available at the start location. No camp fires. Pets are allowed as long as they are on leash. State Highway patrol will be escorting the start, HAM radio communications will be set up with SAG drivers and Rest stops. 6 AM Rolling Start for all routes.
Packets will be mailed out 10 days before the event start date, MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR MAILING ADDRESS IF DIFFERENT THEN YOUR PHISICAL ADDRESS. You must be preregistered before May 1st to be guarenteed a t-shirt. This is a rain or shine event, no refunds please. We will have drop bags so you can layer up and drop off clothing at the rest stops and we will have them for you at the finish.
Bring lots of $ so you can tip your bike mechanic if needed. Free massages will be available but tips are always welcome. We will have ice cream at the finish. You can always leave a donation in the donation jar of the non-profit of your choice.
