_ The 2019 Birchwood Lakes Triathlon:
Here at Birchwood lakes we try our hardest to create a family friendly environment with competition at the same time! The run and bike are on nice flat shaded roads. The swim is in deep fresh water that is well maintained, no muck! Visit our site for the bike course map. After the race ends, hang out at the lake for the BBQ and awards presentation.
Fees
Triathlon - $80.00 until 6/1, $90.00 6/2 - 6/28, $115 Race Day
Relay Teams $110 per team
The Course
Triathlon - Swim 1/4 mile Bike 13.5 miles Run 5000 meters. The bike course will be marshaled. It is an open to traffic course, so all traffic laws and regs. need to be followed. Here is a link http://birchwoodlakestriathlon.com/race-route/
The Vibe
Low key, fun and low tech. Great competition without the complication. FYI- CHIPPED TIMED
Parking
Parking will be off site at St Mary of the Lakes RC Church on Jackson Rd. Medford, NJ 08055. Follow the signs BLCC Du/Tri Parking. Its about 1/2 mile from the transition. Please do not park in the neighborhood. The Medford Police have asked us not to allow parking on the street.

Post Race Party
After the race, enjoy our post-race BBQ. Free cold beer (birch or root variety available for the kids), hamburgers and hot dogs.
