Come join the fun in our 6th year!
Your 2020 Triathlon Adventure begins with:   The 6th annual White Deer Triathlon (WDT) on Saturday, May 16, 2020, beginning at 9am. The White Deer Triathlon’s three legs include:

  • Paddle the 3K paddle course on beautiful Boulder Lake across to historic Camp Manito-wish YMCA
  • Bike from the camp for 22K along paved rustic roads around Boulder Junction returning to the camp
  • Run the 6K on scenic roads and wooded trails in the beautiful area surrounding Boulder Junction ending at the Boulder Junction Community Center building.

Register as an Individual, in a 2 person team or in a 3-person Relay Team! Your entry includes:

Event details and schedule The White Deer Triathlon is a unique triathlon with a paddle component instead of a swim.  It is our 6th year and we are celebrating this wonderful event! Proceeds from this event will help to support the Boulder Junction Chamber of Commerce. The Boulder Junction Lions Club and Boulder Junction American Legion Post #451 are volunteer organizations that will assist with hosting the award lunch and beverages. Plan to make it a fun weekend with the following events planned: ·        Friday, May 15, 2020 – Packet Pick-up/Registration, 5pm-8:30 pm. o    Pub Crawl begins on Friday and continues on Saturday evening to get your card stamped for possibly winning a free entry in 2021! ·        Saturday, May 16, 2020 – WDT triathlon event starts at 9am. o    Celebration party, cookout lunch and music by DJ Ty from 11am until the completion of awards ceremony. o    Awards at 1:30pm or after the last finisher, whichever time is sooner. o    Saturday Evening Pub Crawl at local taverns continues. ·        Sunday, May 17, 2020 – Bike any of the over 50 miles of paved bike trails, fish the beautiful lakes, hike area trails, dine at local restaurants and shop the unique Boulder Junction stores – all day at your own pace.   • In 2020, we will not be creating separate divisions for canoe, kayak or SUP. You may use the watercraft of your choice, but all entrants will be competing in the same divisions as listed below.

• Individuals, ages 15-70+: Medals will be awarded to the top two males and top two females in each of the following age categories: 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Award plaques will be presented to the top male and top female overall. • 2 Person Teams: Divisions are male/male, female/female and co-ed in tandem kayak or tandem canoe. Each team member in each of the top finishing divisions will be presented with an award plaque and the runner-up team members in each division will be awarded a medal. • 3-Person Relay: three people will each complete one leg of the course. A plaque for each member of the top relay team will be awarded and the runner-up team members will be awarded a medal. • ALL athletes finishing the race will receive a participation medal.
