The Community Health & Wellness Day event will be held on October 6, 2018 from 8:00am until 1:00pm at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia. Our goal is to enrich the community with education focused around health, wellness, safety, and nutrition, while providing fun activities for the entire family.

The Community Health & Wellness Day event is an indoor/outdoor health festival with a variety of health screens including blood analysis, diabetes screening, vision, dental, fitness, and offers a variety of vendors and services.   There will be outdoor activities for kids so bring your children.

Vendor will offer free health screenings and CRMC offers a complete blood analysis for only $30 ($300 value), which is a perfect solution for those without insurance or those with high deductibles.  You will be able to pick up your lab work from CRMC within 5-7 business days at the front desk.  Enter the main lobby for blood work and proceed to the designated area. 

New additions for this year will include a farmers market, 5k run, 6k obstacle course,   1.5 mile walk, and a cookie eating contest for children.  Why a cookie eating contest? We believe that there should be a balance of healthy and unhealthy.  No one is perfect all the time and what's better than a yummy cookie after a run!

The walk and run will start in the main drive of Coffee Regional Medical Center- 1101 Ocilla Road, Douglas GA 31533. The obstacle run and 5k route overlap, but obstacles will detour through the 100 & 200 buildings and Wheeler Park.  There is no additional fee for pushing your child in a stroller in the 5k or walk and we are pet friendly (bring a baggy).

The 5K entry fee is $20. Race start is 7:45 am
The 6K Obstacle Run entry fee is $30. Race start is 7:30 and 

The run will be roughly 4 miles. The first 2 miles will be about of the 5k event and then into a Wheeler Park with tons of obstacles set up. There will be water, climbing, crawling, and much more! This is a family event!

The 1.5 mile Walk entry fee is $12. A friendly stroll around the neighborhood for those who want to support a great cause!
Online entry closes on Friday Oct 5, 2018 at 9am. Race day entry will commence at 6:30 am. Please arrive early to avoid log lines.
