_ The 2018 Happy Hobo Hundy:
Free for Team Spinistry members.
This is a self navigated bikepacking route combining doubletrack, dirt/gravel roads, paved roads and optional singletrack around Lake Ray Roberts in north Texas. 100 mile loop (not including singletrack). This is not a formal group event or race of any kind. Registration provides you with the notes, gps files and other details needed to complete this route as designed by the organizer. You are welcome to amend or deviate from the route in any way that you please without penalty of any kind.
Camping available at Isle Du Bois State Park and Johnson Branch State Park. Each is about half way around the loop from the other. There are also some motels near the route and several towns with convenience stores and restaurants. Riders are responsible for their own arrangements for meals and accommodations.
Suggested weekend format is arrive Friday and camp at one park or the other. Morning trail ride if MTBing then break camp. Ride approximately 50 miles to other park (BBQ half way each direction in Tiogoa or Sanger). Setup camp Saturday, Morning trail ride Sunday and return to start. Both BBQ's open on Sundays.
Supplied notes start and end at Isle Du Bois State Park but feel free to start wherever you wish on the loop
