Be a Cancer Fighter!

Each of us knows someone who has been affected by cancer. Honor those who have lost their battle, support those facing cancer, and celebrate those who have overcome it by joining the Lobo Cancer Challenge. 

Bicycle 100, 50 or 25 miles. Run or walk in the 5K.

Raise funds to help New Mexicans receive outstanding cancer care and benefit from the latest cancer research and clinical trials at the
UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center!

Challenge cancer today by signing up to bicycle, run/walk, volunteer, donate or sponsor.

Teams or Individuals

You can ride, run or walk as an individual, or as part of a team. Teams only need two or more members.

Registration Information

The registration fees are:

• $50 for the 25-Mile bike route

• $75 for the 50-Mile bike route

• $100 for the 100-Mile bike route

• $40 for the 5K Run/Walk

Registration includes logistical and safety support the day of the event, your route's finish line celebration, snacks, an official Lobo Cancer Challenge t-shirt and more! All registration fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Fundraising Tips / Personal Fundraising Page

You can find many tips for fundraising at at www.lobocancerchallenge.org/fundraise.

Your registration in the Lobo Cancer Challenge also includes your own online Participant Center where you can:

• Set up a customizable fundraising page.

• Share or email that page for online donations.

• Enter gifts made in cash or checks to you towards your fundraising goal.

• See your fundraising progress.

Fundraising Details

100 percent of every dollar you raise goes directly to advanced research and world-class patient care at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center. Each route has a fundraising minimum. 

The fundraising minimums are:

• $250 for the 25-mile bike route

• $500 for the 50-mile bike route

• $500 for the 100-mile bike route

• $50 for the 5K Run/Walk

4:00pm  Packet Pick-Up opens

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8

6:30am  Packet Pick-Up opens 

7:30am  Opening Ceremony and 100-mile and 50-mile Riders Launch 

8:15am  5K Run / Walk Launch 

8:15am  25 mile Riders Launch (line up behind 5K participants) 

8:35am  First 5K participants begin to return 

9:45am  First Riders begin to return
