_ The 2019 Kiwanis Resolution Run:

The Kiwanis New Year's Day Resolution Run is a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K run, and will be held over USA-TF 5K and 10K certified courses at Shoreline Park in Mountain View, CA. The event will be run through scenic shoreline parklands and on paved trails. Prizes and medals will be awarded. Event will also include music and vendor booths.
 

T shirts: All registrants who register by December 21 will receive a very special complementary race T shirt. If you register after December 21, T shirts are not gauranteed.

Race registration fees:

$35 before December 1;

$40 from Dec 1 to December 22;

$45 after Dec 22.

Raceday info:

Both the 5K and 10K Start and Finish lines are located at the Kite Flying Area inside Shoreline Park. Races will run Rain or Shine!

Turn right into Parking lot E, just after the main ranger entrance shack. Parking is free.

   8:30 a.m.  Raceday registration opens and Packet pickup starts on site for Preregistered runners

  10:00 a.m: 10K run starts

  10:15 a.m: 5k run/walk starts

  11:00 a.m. Awards presentations start

The 10AM start time allows some extra winks of recovery time for all you New Years Eve party revelers out there. 

Race results, refreshments and music follow at the event finish.

PACKET PICKUP:  

Two locations Pre-Race as follows, as well as on raceday starting at 8:30AM.

Dec 30, 12-6 PM at Athletic Performance, 1115 Lincoln Ave San Jose. They are offering 20% merchandise discounts to race registrants.

Weather: Typical weather is cool, some sun and light clouds, sometimes  light rain, all very good running conditions. Races will run, rain or shine.
