_ The 2018 New York City Duathlon:
The 34th Annual New York City Duathlon takes place on a scenic course through iconic Central Park during Labor Day Weekend! Take in the breathtaking views of the park on the first leg of the race with a 2.2 mile run along the east side as you head north to 96th street. The 12-mile bike portion consists of two 6 mile loops near the lake. Follow that up with another 2.2 miles run on the same route you completed on the first leg of the race.
The all-weather race starts at 8am in front of the Central Park Boathouse, right by the lake. The closest Park entrance to the start of the race is at 72nd Street and 5th Avenue. Packet pick-up begins on Saturday, September 1st from 4:00-6:00 p.m at the parking lot in front of the Central Park Boathouse (74th Street & East Drive). You must show photo ID to receive a packet. New entries will be accepted! (Cash Only - No t-shirts to race day entries)
Cool off at the post-race awards celebration at the Central Park Boathouse!Awards to the top 3 male and female overall and to the top 3 males and females in every age group. Finisher medals for all those who cross the finish line and signs up online receives an NYTRI t-shirt.
