_ The 2019 New Balance Wilmington Beach Dash:

Registration now open for the 2019 Beach Dash! 

Join us for the 6th Annual Beach Dash on Sunday, March 31st at 2pm. This year's event is at the beautiful Fort Fisher State Recreation Area in Kure Beach, NC. This year's event is presented by New Balance Wilmington!

Dash down the beach and experience over 8 obstacles with various blast stations throughout! The first 300 to register will receive a cool tie dyed t-shirt, glittery participant medal, and other swag items! The sand and obstacles makes this dash a unique challenge for even the veteran mud-runner, but with a fun, no-pressure atmosphere including color blast stations, optional obstacles, and no chip timing - this event is great for the whole family! Teams registering at the same time receive discounted rates!

FAMILY FUN!

Bring the entire family for this fun filled event! The event is not timed and obstacles are geared for all ages and fitness levels! The Dash is approximately 1.4 miles in length with fun music, music and snacks to follow the event! 

RAIN OR SHINE!

The New Balance Wilmington Beach Dash will take place RAIN or SHINE! However, in the event of high winds or other inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for safety reasons to the next weekend - Sunday, April 7th.  In the event race directors do rescheduled, you will be notified via email. 

YCC RUN SERIES:

The New Balance Wilmington Beach Dash is the second race of the 2019 YCC Run Series. This year-round run series inspires the community to be active and have fun year-round. The 2019 YCC Run Series includes 10 events ranging in 1 mile fun runs to 10k road races. To participate in the series all you have to do is run, walk or dash in at least 3 of the 10 events.
