_ The 2018 Early Childhood Council Logan, Phillips, Sedgwick Super Hero 1k/5k Fun Run:

The Early Childhood Council of Logan, Phillips, & Sedgwick (ECCLPS) is excited to host the first of its kind 5K/1K Super Hero Fun Run in Northeastern Colorado! We want to CELEBRATE children and the Super Heroes who inspire, encourage, & guide them in life! This is an event for the whole family & all fitness levels. So dress up like your favorite Super Hero & run, walk, stroll, or fly! The 1K course will take you through the quaint, rural town of Merino, Colorado and the 5K will take you along the outskirts.  Both courses are primarily dirt roads with some slight inclines on the 5K course.  

After the race be sure to stay & check out the 3rd Annual Juneberry Vintage Market where you can enjoy shopping, live music, & food! It's a great way to spend the day with the whole family!

Event details and schedule

Pre-registration strongly encouraged online until June 16, 2018. ($5.00 savings & t-shirt for each paying adult - age 13 and up). June 23, 2018 race day check-in 8:30 AM & 9:00 AM race starts. (Late registrations accepted with $5.00 late fee & no t-shirt). Please bring ID for check-in.

No designated parking area.  Parking along streets is permitted. 

Each course will be clearly marked & volunteers will be along the course to offer assistance & drinks if needed. Refreshments & drinks will be available after the race.  

Wear your favorite Super Hero costume or comfortable clothing, running/walking tennis shoes, sunscreen if needed.  Masks are permitted as long as the participant can see clearly from all angles & it doesn't interfere with vision. 

Pre-registration packets may be picked up at the ECCLPS Office - 100 Broadway, Suite 14 Sterling, Colorado on Friday, June 22 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
