CAVEMAN 5k Obstacle Run Course

The Caveman Run 5k is full of challenging and fun obstacles located at one of the most historical
parks in Wisconsin, Maribel County Park. The park offers caves, a playground, a picnic area, and hiking and biking trails. A picnic shelter with bathrooms is located in the picnic area. The beauty of the area made it a popular tourist destination as it also has real caves.
This is a family event which features 1/2 mile obstacle course for kids which parents can run with their child to support them. You will love the obstacles and photo op with Willy the Woolly Mammoth. Enjoy a feast of paleolithic and regular plain ol' food.

CATEGORIES
Paleolithic Individual
Flintstones- Team of 2-4
Tribe- Team of 5 or more
Kids- 1/2 Mile Obstacle Course (10 and under)
TIMES
First wave- Paleolithic Individual 8 a.m.
Second wave- Flintstone Teams 8:15 a.m.
Third wave- Tribe Teams 8:45 a.m.
Fourth wave- Tribe Teams 9:15 a.m.
Fifth wave- Tribe Teams 9:30 a.m.
REGISTRATION
Your wave placement is on a first serve, first come basis. Register early if you would like an early time start. Team captains must register first and must have a team name. They can then register everyone or each Team member can register themselves after the captain registers. Be sure to arrive 30- 45 minutes before your start time.
AGES
If you would want to do the event with a child in any of the categories, you may do so as long as you accompany them. 15 and older do not need to be accompanied.
Adults can accompany their child of the 1/2 Mile Kid's Obstacle Course if they like.
PERKS
Everyone will receive a shirt, goody bag and food after the event. Awards will be given to the top overall female and male in each category.
PARKING
Parking is free and easy. There is a huge field for parking across from the park.
DETAILS
Wear shoes and clothes you may not want to keep. Showers provided after. We will provide Bag and Tag which is a secure service to check in any belongings like clothes, wallets or phones. Wear running, hiking or some kind of solid shoes.
BENEFICIARY
Lakeshore Community Health Center is the beneficiary. They provide access to comprehensive, integrated health care, regardless of ability to pay, eliminating health disparities among the underserved.
