Hands down best sprint tri in the region and you don't have to get up early! Start time 1:00 PM. Individual or team relay. 350 meter straight shot swim across Medical Lake, 12.2 mile bike on paved roads around Clear Lake, ends with 2.92 run on the Medical Lake Trail circumnavigating beautiful Medical Lake. Begins and ends downtown Medical Lake, WA. Part of the Founders Day Festival with great entertainment, food, and free family activities http://medicallake.org/fd
Course Information:
Swim start will be across the lake from transition. Swimmers can swim across the lake (350m) or will be transported from transition to the swim start. Duathlon 1st run leg is a 1/2 mile out and back starting at the same time as the triathlon. Both triathlon and duathlon courses follow the same bike and final run routes. Bike course takes riders on a 12.2 mile ride around nearby Clear Lake. Athletes return to transition and run around Medical Lake on a 2.9 mile paved trail to the finish.
