2019 Mountain Do Triathlon & Kids Duathlon:
A wonderful and challenging adventure triathlon in the epic Virginia State Park, Hungry Mother State Park, in Marion, VA. This triathlon consists of a 10K Trail Run that is a low-intermediate to intermediate course that takes runners on a fantastic loop around the lake, a 10M MTB course that has been consistently ranked as low-difficult to very-difficult with some possible “bike and hike” areas that hits almost all major climbs in the park but gives riders all the best descents the park has to offer, and finishes up with an awesome 5K kayak down the lake and looping back around and down to the start.
We offer a 10K X 10K Youth Duathlon that ONLY USES THE RUN LOOP around the lake for the run and bike. This is to keep it realistic for the kids that want to get involved and as safe as possible.
