_ The 2018 Pat Stratton Memorial Bike Ride:
All Bike Riders and Abilities Welcome
This is a beautiful ride through the Adirondack forest and past lakes, streams and meadows north of Saranac Lake. Great mountain views but no mountain climbing on the ride. Wide shoulders on the State Routes, otherwise quiet back roads. Along the route are Gabriels, Paul Smiths College, Mecham Lake, St. Regis Falls and Lake Clear.
Riders are well-supported with feed stations, port-a-johns, and sag wagon. All rides start and end at beautiful Mt. Pisgah Lodge in Saranac Lake, where all riders are treated to a BBQ, music, sports shirt, prizes and homemade pies.
Proceeds benefit youth programs of the Saranac Lake Kiwanis, including the annual Bike Rodeo that has distributed over 1,500 bike helmets to area youth.
The Century Ride starts at 8:00 AM, 50-mile ride at 10:30, 25-mile ride at 11:30 and a free kid's ride at 2:00 PM.
