_ The 2018 OCPR Sprint Triathlon:
Our USAT sanctioned Sprint Triathlon is held at Wendell Moore Park on the first Saturday after Labor Day. The event includes a 400-meter pool swim, a 10-mile bike ride (on a non-closed road course) and a 3K run that includes firm surfaces and cross-country segments. The race costs $50.00per individual and $80.00 for three-person teams. Non-USAT members must add $12.00 per participant to cover one-day insurance. The top two finishers in a variety of age groups as well as the team, men & women’s overall winners receive awards. Registration begins June 1st and must be turned in by August 14th by 2:00 p.m. Maximum participation is 200 entries.

This is a great race for every level of triathlete.
Check in will start at 6:00 am on day of the race. Please bring with you: picture ID, USAT membership card (if member), one day insurance form (if not member), and helmet. Team's must check in together.
Swimming leg is a time start, every 15 seconds, in the aquatic center pool.
Bike course is on the Oldham County roads with police at the major intersections. Bike course is a hilly course.
Run leg is on the park grounds. Running on the paved trails around the park.
All finishers receive a metal.
Awards ceremony follows the race. Free Domino's pizza and a chance at one of 8 cash door prizes.
