_ The 16th Annual Running with the Bulls:
The Musk Ox Farm has hosted the “Running with the Bulls” trail race since August 2002. In either the 10k run or the 5k run/walk, participants will enjoy the challenging trail course cut through the pastures and safely past the 81 musk oxen that occupy the Musk Ox Farm. There is also a 1k Kid’s Fun-Run for all the little ones that wish to join in on the fun! All proceeds are used to care for the animals on the non-profit Musk Ox Farm. Spectators are more than welcome to come and watch the runners, listen to great live music, enjoy fabulous food, and take a chance at winning some incredible prizes. Kid’s Fun-Run begins at 1pm Sunday, August 12th, with the other races following shortly after. Don’t miss out on this uniquely Alaskan one-of-a-kind race!!
Event details and schedule
Bib pick up on the day of the race will start at 11:00 am.
The kids 1k fun run starts at 1:00 pm with other races following shortly after.
*We will have bib pick up for preregistered runners on August 11th from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm*
This course is all on grass and gravel with hills spread throughout. Strollers are welcome however plan for some extra excersize!
NO water will be avialable on course but water filling station is avialable at the starting line.
Parking is avialable on site but carpooling is always appreciated.
