The proceeds from this event will support the mission of the school through programs such as tuition assistance and professional development.  Our goal is 100% participation by the Rockbridge Academy community and widespread participation by the communities in which our families live. We hope you will be a part of this family-friendly event.

REGISTRATION

Belvoir 5K:  The race takes place on historic Belvoir Scott’s Plantation and is a hand-wheeled 3.1 mile course.  It begins and finishes on grass and includes wooded trails, hills, and a stretch of gravel lane.  Runners will catch a view of the historic manor house once owned by Francis Scott Key’s grandparents, and will run by the location of a Revolutionary War campground and through beautiful wooded vistas. The course is challenging and exhilarating.  Water will be provided on the course as well as water and light snacks at the finish line.

Packet pick-up and on-site registration will be Saturday, April 28 from 8:00 am to 9:00 am near the race start. Porta-Johns will be available. Post-race refreshments will be provided.  

Advanced registration is $30 and a performance wear t-shirt will be included with all registrations received by April 15.  Advanced registration will remain open until April 27.

      Race day registration is $40.

One Mile Color Fun Run:  All ages are welcome to join this colorful and fun run.  The course includes grassy, hilly terrain and some wooded trails.

Advanced registration is $20 and white cotton event themed t-shirt will be included with all registrations received by April 15.  Advanced registration will remain open until April 27th.

Race day registration is $30

One Mile / Three Mile Walk:  The 1 Mile walk is stroller, kid and dog friendly.  The 3 Mile Walk includes some challenging terrain. There is no registration fee for this event, but participants are encouraged to register in advance. Advanced registration will remain open until April 27. T-shirts are not included with this event, but are available for purchase at the time of registration. 

Toddler Trot:  The Toddler Trot is a short course run for children 5 years old and younger. All participants will receive a prize.There is no registration fee for this event, but participants are encouraged to register in advance. Advanced registration will remain open until April 27. T-shirts are not included with this event, but are available for purchase at the time of registration. 

A bouncy house, face-painting and other amusements will be provided at no charge.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

8:00 – Same day registration opens;

8:00-10:30 – Music, Bouncy House and Face Painting on-going.

9:00 – National Anthem - 5K begins/ 3 mile Walk

9:15 – 1 mile Walk

9:50 – Toddler Trot

10:00 – 1 mile Color Fun Run begins

10:30 – Awards
