_ The 2018 Hillbilly Days Run for the Kids 10k Run/5k Run/2 Mile Walk:
- Join the Big Sandy Road Runners as we host our annual Hillbilly Days run for the Kids in Pikeville, KY in support of the Shriner's Children's Hospital!
The race starts and finishes at the Garfield House in Pikeville. Race begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday April 21st, 2018. Choose your distance of 10k run, 5k run or a 2 mile walk! Finisher medals will be awarded to each participant in the 5k/10k and 2 mile walk events. Finisher ribbons will be awarded to participants of the Kids Fun Run.
Register by 4/12/18 and you'll also receive a free custom race t-shirt. Anyone not registered by the deadline will not receive a shirt.
Race day registration will be available from 6:45-7:45 am race morning.
We will be hosting a KIDS FUN RUN! Every participant in the kids run will receive a finishers ribbon.
Overall male and overall female winner of the 5k and 10k will receive a trophy!
Age awards will also be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of each age division in both male and female divisions of the 5k and 10k races. Age divisions are as follows:
