_ The 2018 Gravelthon! Edition:
The urban gravel grinder is back and this time the shackles are off! Explore Big D like you never have before. More details coming so check in often. We will provide marked course options as well as GPS capability for all rider. On course support will be available. The course will primarily be rugged, gravel, levee trails so road bikes are not appropriate. Helmets are required.
Special pricing includes a custom Spinistry jersey for the first 100 who choose that option. A no jersey option is available as well at a slightly reduced price at the jersey size selection of checkout. Jerseys will be mailed approximately four weeks after event date.
Our routes primarily utilize UNPAVED levee trails/roads along both banks of the Trinity River corridor. Potentially 35-40 miles of unique, individual trails and roads are available to explore. There are multiple opportunities to cross the river without having to access surface streets for any reason. The only vehicle traffic on this route will be event support and officials from the City or River Authority. We will have the corridor all to ourselves!
Signage will be posted for direction and the different options for length of ride. Riders can ride any distance between 6 and 60 miles realistically. We are putting together details for an after ride gathering as well so stay tuned.
The ride will be rescheduled in case of inclement weather. No refunds for rain.
