_ The 2018 Cool Cape Cycling Event in Cape May NJ:

The 2nd annual Cool Cape Cycling event takes place on a scenic, point-to-point course every year in Sept. It starts/ends this year at the Cape May Winery. Beautiful scenic course either in historic downtown Cape May of 15 miles, Bay views and Cape May downtown 35 miles, or the grand trek through Avalon, Stone Harbor, Wildwood and back to the winery in Cape May. Upon your return, you will get a glass of wine and glass, sandwich, snacks, tech shirt along with Live music from Sweet Spot, Dennis and Gail at a great venue.

All attendees must be age 21 or over to enter into Cool Cape Cycling event in Cape May on 9/16/18. There will be 3 distances, 15, 35 or 55. Starting at our host place inCape May, The course will wind through West, North and Cape May proper on 9/15. All pre registered participants will receive a cool Cape Cycling event shirt until supplies last.

All riders presume liability for self and ride at your own risk. The event on Sept 16th will be rain or shine and non - refundable. Monies will go to the charities listed. PAL association in Cape May for local Police youth programs.

Event details and schedule

6:30 - 7am departure from winery for 55 mile group

730 - departure for the 35 mile group

8:30-9am -departure for the 15 mile group

9:30-1pm Sweet Spot starts to play music. Wine and sandwiches flow and unwind time.

1 rest stop along the charted route. The route will be marked with arrows and signs throughout each course. You must keep your eyes peeled.

There will be parking in front and along the street of the winery. There is also Winery parking lot about a block away. Will be listed on email

Bring cash for our 50/50 to benefit PAL.

Come prepared with rain gear - this event is rain or shine with non refundable fee.

The course will not be closed and some parts contain rocks and sand. Please be careful and ride in a leisurely manner. This is a non competitive race.
