About Rob Lucas
Rob’s Sugar River Ramble is a memorial event in honor of Rob Lucas. Many people knew Rob Lucas through his work as a Psychologist for the Madison School District and his love for the outdoors and exercise. Much of his life was spent with his wife, Angie, their 3 children and their dogs, enjoying their mutual love of many outdoor activities like skiing, canoeing, kayaking, biking, camping, hiking, and roaming many different natural areas near and far.
Rob and his family were surrounded by many cherished friends who share a love for same activities. Every weekend an activity was planned and many of their wonderful trips were made with dear friends and family.
Rob was always up for an adventure big or small. A rich paddling, biking, and skiing community is part of what makes it so much fun and so beautiful to live in this part of Wisconsin. Rob was part of the glue that held these communities together – always so friendly and welcoming, quick with a joke, willing to step up to help everyone, or volunteer, and was generous with his talents at teaching.
