_ The 2018 Shorty Forty:
Wheel Heroes provides specialty bikes to disabled children. Our SHORTY FORTY is our signature fund raising event which provides for the best in cycling experience. 40 miles of uninterupted cycling through the Everglades National park with no traffic lights, no stop signs and no intersections. Just pure cycling fun. We provide the best of everything that's expected from from a well organized event. From rest stops every 15 miles to SAG to Premium beer and top shelf cocktails. Pull into the bBike Valet and after collecting your t-shirt and medals, you'll enjoy premium lunch from Isla Del Encanto (Puerto Rican Quisine) and charter buses to transport you back to your vehicle. This is a high class event for folks that want to experience being pampered and the best part is that 100% of the money earned goes toward providing specially designed bikes for kids that can't ride a standard bike due to their lower levels of ability.
