_ The 27th Annual Tustin Dinosaur Dash​​​​​​​:

The 27th Annual Balfour Beatty Construction Dinosaur Dash is an Orange County tradition. The community run, walk, and bike event benefiting the Tustin Public Schools Foundation features 2k, 5k, and 10k runs and three different Seven Gables Real Estate Bike Tours. 

The 10k and 5k runs will use chip timing for all runners, sponsored by Blatchford Group Surterre Properties. Finishers in those events and the 50K and 15K Bike Tours will each receive a Dino Dash Finisher Medal. The top finisher in each age division will receive the official Dino Dash trophy and certificates to The Market Place and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Second- and third-place finishers will receive a medal. The 2k Fun Run is not timed, but all finishers will receive a commemorative wristband.

The 50k bike tour is a metric half-century ride that tours Santiago Canyon from the City of Orange side to Foothill Ranch. Riders will skirt the old El Toro Marine Base and the Great Park before returning to The Market Place in Tustin. This tour is recommended for riders age 13 and up. A shorter 15k bike tour will also be available, as will a family friendly 5K tour on closed roads.

A free family Expo will be open 7 a.m.-11 a.m. The expo will offer activities, school fundraising booths, exhibitors and a food court featuring bites from local restaurants.

The Tustin Public Schools Foundation is a charitable organization that supports the students and teachers of Tustin Unified's 30 schools by funding grants, scholarships, and enrichment programs such as afterschool sports, robotics, college readiness, Tustin Summer Academy, and more.

7:00 am - Dino Dash Expo Opens

7:15 am - 10K Chip-Timed Run Begins

8:00 am - Food Court Opens

8:30 am - 5K Chip-Timed Run Begins

9:30 am - 2K Fun Run Begins (non-timed)

10:30 am - Event Ends
