Lad Lake Kettle Classic BIKE. WALK. RUN event is a great invitation to our beautiful campus in Dousman located in Lake Country. We are excited to partner with Spring City Spinners who held the (PTK- Peddle the Kettle Event for 25 years)
At Lad Lake, 95% of the youth in our care are kids in crisis. Here in our community, Lad Lake is the emergency room of the child welfare system for more than 1,100 abused and neglected youth each year- providing support, a second chance, and the opportunities for success that they deserve. We provide kids safety, individualized therapy, and skill-building for independence. Whether its support for foster kids, mentors for troubled youth, or a safe-haven for exploited and abused girls Lad Lake provides proven programs that strengthens families.
The Bike ride will consist of three non-competitive routes 15 or 30 miles or a 100k, the routes will take riders through the beautiful Kettle Moraine on the road.
The Family guided or unguided walk will be a 2 mile course. This course will feature a variety of family-friendly activities to engage and educate along the scenic route.
The 5k Run/Walk is a race that will take you on a trail cross –country non-traditional run. A very unique opportunity to navigate various terrains including running through a corn field. There will be medals for the top 3 M/F runners.
There is something for the entire family. A wonderful full Barbeque lunch will be included. Come and join in the fun to support Lad Lake.
