_ The 2018 Tri on the Fourth of July:

TRI on the 4th of July is back for its second year!  

All proceeds received will be donated to Pretty Lake Camp!

 Pretty Lake Camp is the scene for this Sprint Triathlon and Dualthlon. We are including a AquaBike race, this a Swim-bike format race for individuals who are recovering from a run injury or aren't interested in running.  The camp is surrounded by Pretty Lake and the Pretty Lake Nature Preserve, 40 acres of forest and nature. Compete in a 500m swim in the clear waters of Pretty Lake, 20k bike road route through rural Mattawan, Michigan and a 5k trail run throughout the nature trails of Pretty Lake Camp. Parking, the transition area, finish line, and post-race festivities are all located in the campgrounds of the camp, closed to traffic.  
 

For over a 100 years, Pretty Lake Camp has been enriching the lives of thousands of youth by offering a safe, structured and encouraging environment in a natural setting. Many of the children who attend Pretty Lake Camp face significant challenges at home, in school, and in their community. They strive to remove all barriers that prevent a child from being able to come to camp. Pretty Lake’s mission is to provide adventure education and outdoor experiences that change lives and improve the community.

**** Online registration ends on June 30, 2018 at 11:59pm.  We will have race day registration from 6am to 7:30am, and will be only accepting Cash or Checks

**** Pretty Lake Camp is a closed campus until the day of the event so participants are unable to train on run course, swim course, and bike course within the camp grounds.
