_ The 2018 Oregon Park District Triathlon:

Swim segment will be held at the Nash Recreation Center Indoor Pool. Biking & running courses will loop through the community and the surrounding areas. The sprint triathlon is a 300 Meter Swim, 10 Mile BIke and a 5K Run. The Super sprint is a 50 Meter Swim, 2.5 Mile Bike and a 1 Mile Run.

SPRINT TRIATHLON

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Registration Deadline is Wednesday, July 11th, 2017 to be guaranteed a shirt.  Registration will be accepted through July 25th or first 200 people. All registration must be completed at the Nash Recreation Center or online at www.oregonpark.org or www.active.com

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Dri-fit Shirt, awards for top finishers, shower facilities, water on the course and post-race refreshments.

AWARDS: Overall male and female finishers receive awards. Awards to top three male and female participants in each age category: 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+. Awards will be presented at about 10:00 am. Participants will be allowed to finish if not done at this point.

TEAMS: Teams consist of 2-3 people. Awards will be given to the top three teams.

RESULTS: Results will be posted at www.tri-3events.com.

PRE-RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP: Participants may pick up their race day packet on Thursday, July 26th from 5:00 – 9:00 pm or Friday, July 27th from 5:30 am - 9 pm at Nash Recreation Center. Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race.  

RACE DAY CHECK IN: Check in will begin at 6:00 am. All   participants must check in no later than 7:00 am. (even if packet is already picked up) The transition area will be closed at 7:15 am and announcements will be made before the race begins promptly at 7:30 am.   Participants will line up in number order . The pool will be open for warm up from 6:15-7:10 am.

SUPER SPRINT TRIATHLON

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: T-shirt, finisher medals, shower facilities, water on the course and post-race refreshments.

AWARDS: All participants registered will receive finisher medals.

BUDDIES: Buddies that are registered will start with their participant and are encouraged to stay with them throughout the race. Buddies will only receive a shirt for participating no medal will be given.

RESULTS: Results will be posted at www.tri-3events.com.

PARKING: The sprint triathlon will be starting at 7:30am and  finishing around 10am, so you will need to park on the street in order to get your bike into the transition zone without disrupting the race in  progress.
