Jacksonville Olympic & Sprint Triathlon Series Moves to Downtown Jacksonville!

The long awaited news has arrived. DRC Sports has been working hard to bring the Jax Tri Series back to Jacksonville. Amelia Island was a beautiful venue, however, this successful series outgrew the space which presented increasing challenges and it was time for a change. The Riverfront gives us the room to become one of the largest Sprint & Olympic events in the country!

Please join us for the Jacksonville Olympic & Sprint Triathlon Series Race #3 on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Sprint Triathlon is Swim 0.25 mile, Bike 16 miles, Run 5K.

Olympic Triathlon is Swim 1.5k, Bike 30K, Run 10k.

FRIDAY:
Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up & Optional Bike Check-In (Overnight Security Provided)
1:00PM - 7:00PM at Location TBA

YOU MUST HAVE your USAT card and picture ID at packet pick up
You can NOT pick up a packet for someone else,unless you bring this completed original affidavit signed (no phone screenshots/photos or texts accepted) and copy of their license. Download Affidavit Form Here

SATURDAY:
5:00 AM Registration Opens; Day of Race registration (if available), check-in, packet pick up.
7:00AM - First Wave Start
9:30 AM - Sprint Awards Ceremony & 10:00 AM Olympic Awards Ceremony (time is approximate)

COURSE
SWIM: with the fresh water current of the St. john's River (dock start) with a fresh water shower into transition #1. Swim caps are provided in your race packet and are REQUIRED during the swim.

BIKE: the flat, fast, out & back CLOSED course along the urban riverfront around EverBank Field, Home of the Jaguars.

RUN: on the fast & flat, out and back course with water, sports drink, and sponges available at water stations along the Riverside North Riverwalk and downtown Jacksonville.
