_ 2018 Bartow Blarney Triathlon:
- 9th annual sprint triathlon staged at the Bartow Civic Center, 2250 S. Floral Ave. Bartow, FL 33830
- All proceeds from the event will go towards Bartow Parks & Recreation Department to continue and further its youth, adult, family, and senior recreational programming.
Course Information:
Swim:
• The swim will be held in the Sam Griner Pool.
• The Pool is not heated.
• Wet suits will be permitted if water temperature is 78 degrees or lower as stated in the USA Triathlon Competitive Rules.
Bike:
• The bike will start and end at the Civic Center.
• The route will take participants through shady residential neighborhoods, historic Bartow, and phosphate mining country south of town.
Run:
• The 5K run will start and end at the Civic Center.
• Most of the run will take place in the Floral Lakes Senior Community.
