_ The 2018 Firebolt Youth Triathlon:
The 2018 Firebolt Youth Triathlon will again be a USAT Sanctioned Swim, Bike, Run event for kids ages 5-17 years old. We encourage kids of all abilities to participate regardless of experience, skill or ability. It will consist of (5-10 year olds) 50 yd swim (kickboards are allowed), 3 mile bike, .5 mile run, and (11-17 year olds) 200 yd swim, 6 mile bike, 1 mile run. Awards will be presented to age group winners and overall winners in each race as well as teams. The goal of the Firebolt is to provide an opportunity for kids of all abilities to engage in the sport of triathlon, have fun and be a part of something amazing. Participants will recieve an overall time at the finish. They will also recieve a t-shirt, finisher's award, a full race bag of goodies and glory for them and their family. Participate as an individual OR part of a relay team (as a swimmer, cyclist or runner).
