_ The 2018 Stream and Forest 3 & 6 Hour Adventure Race:
Are you a seasoned adventure racer, or a first timer that is comfortable with distances comparable to an Olympic distance triathlon? Our 6 hour course is for you!
REQUIRED GEAR - Required gear is at a minimum for these courses, to make it easy to do for our first time racers! We provide all paddling equipment.
NAVIGATION - No specialized navigation experience is required. At the race start you will receive high quality pre-plotted maps and instructions. If you are capable of navigating yourself from point A to point B on a map, you can do this!
DISTANCES:
3 Hour Course:
Biking: 12-13 miles
Trekking (foot travel): 3-4 miles
Paddling: 3-4 miles
6 Hour Course:
Biking: 25 miles
Trekking (foot travel): 6-7 miles
Paddling: 4-5 miles
RACE DAY INFO:
Check-In: 7:00 AM
Pre-race Meeting: 8:30 AM
Start Time: 9:30 AM
Entry Fee Includes:
- Boats and paddling gear
- Completion medals for all who complete the course
- Winners medals for top 3 finishers in each division
- Gender-specific race T-shirt
- Post race refreshments
- An unforgettable adventure racing experience!
*In order to be covered by the event's liability insurance policy, each racer on your team must also purchase an $8 one-day USARA racing license. This may be purchased at check-in on the day of the race for $8 cash, or a one-year racing license may be purchased ahead of time from the USARA.

- Coed Teams (2, 3, or 4)
- Male Teams (2, 3, or 4)
- Female Teams (2, 3, or 4)
- *Masters Teams (2, 3, or 4)
- Solo Male
- Solo Female
*average team member age must be 40 or greater as of race day
