_ The 2018 Kiawah Island Golf Resort Kids Triathlon:
The Kiawah Island Golf Resort Kids Triathlon is designed for all kids, ages 3-14, to be introduced to the sport of Triathlon, get some exercise, and be successful! Distances vary by age group but all participants will swim in the Night Heron Pool and run and bike on bike paths or beach through and around beautiful Night Heron Park. We'll end the race with a rockin' Color Party at the finsh line! Food, DJ and a color powder celebration!
All participants will receive a t-shirt, medal, and color packet. The top 3 finishers in each age group will receive awards.
Course Information:
The race course is in and around Night Heron Park in the heart of Kiawah Island. The bike and run courses are on bike paths or beach (older age group only) and are fully staffed to help participants navigate.
Distances:
3-6 year olds: 25 yd swim, .33 mile bike, .33 mile run
7-10 year olds: 75 yd swim, 2 mile bike, .7 mile run
11-14 year olds; 125 yd swim, 3 mile bike, 1.5 mile run

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is located on Kiawah Island, SC, about 25 minutes outside downtown Charleston, SC.
