Haulin' 4 Haiti is a fun 5K to raise money for our mission trip to Haiti.  We will have prizes (fun and silly prizes) for the top 3 runners in each category.  Categories are children 10 and under, ages 11-middle school, high school age, and everyone else! 

We have a team of 7 people who will be traveling to Croix Des Bouquets, Haiti on February 23 throught March 3rd.  The cost for our trip is between $1200 and $1400.  This will help defray some of those costs.  While in Haiti we will share Jesus with the people we encounter, as well as help train and equip local pastors in Haiti.  We will also do very practical things like paint, help build tables and beds, prepare meails, bring clothing and supplies.  We will have many opportunities to play with the children in the orphanage we are visiting, as well as get to know the adults who care for them.  This will be a life changing experience for many of us.  How could doing what Jesus did NOT be life changing!  Thank you in advance for helping us and for being the hands and feet of Jesus to the outer most parts of the world!

Event details and schedule

Ok so here are the details!  It is January and so COLD!  Please wear weather appropriate attire.  We will have waivers to sign at registration (in a warm building!).  Come to the Vineyard Cafe', the building all the way to the right.  We will register inside.  We will have fruit and water available before and after the race.  There will also be raffle tickets available as well as other Haiti related merchandise for purchase in the cafe (Haitian made metal are, tumblers, and a few other great items.)  Raffle tickets are a $1.00 each for various baskets and items.  You will receive on FREE raffle ticket at registration.

Date:  January 20, 2018

Time:  Registration begins at 8:30am, Race begins at 9:30am.

Awards:  We will give out awards and announce raffle winners when everyone has completed the race.  This will most likely be at 10:30am.

Cost:  $25.00

You may park anywhere in the Vineyard Church Parking lot.  The course will be marked out.  It runs down Parrish Road onto Patriots Way and through the Westside High School Parking Lot. You will run the route twice to complete the 5K.
