Endurance Sports Management continues the historic and outstanding Frantic Frog Sprint Triathlon at the Goose Pond Colony in Scottsboro, AL on Saturday, September 8th, 2018. We invite all to come enjoy the beauty and challenge awaiting in our host Northern Alabama venue. PRE-EVENT INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE POSTED RIGHT AFTER LABOR DAY. Info will include times, directions, what to expect, etc. Thank you in advance for you participation that enables us to stage the race and provide a donation vehicle for worth local Scottsboro entities!

Sprint race includes the traditional 400 meter Swim, 24K Bike & 5K run. Swim will be a "time-trial" start at end of pier with a rectangular course & beach exit beginning at 7:30 AM Central. Swimmers will "self-seed" with fastest first to avoid congestion.SWIM MAP -  Bike will the traditional loop course with help from Scottsboro Police & volunteers. BIKE MAP - Run will also be an out and back route into campground & return to finish by transition. RUN MAP. We are trying to revise run course & will see if Greenway path extends far enough not to go into campground -we'll update ASAP.

Athlete Amenities - race packets will include: long sleeve cotton race t-shirt w custom FRANTIC FROG, ESM water bottle, ESM socks, ESM swim cap (must be worn). FINISHER MEDALS for all finishers. Post race food & door prizes from sponsors to be announced.

USAT Info: ALL USAT RULES APPLY – Frantic Frog Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event. Please follow link to USAT Triathlon rules & common infractions.

Registration processing fees are included in the entry fee for each event, no additional charges. Endurance Sports Management has enabled event insurance for your consideration in the event you are unable to compete. Please review this option during the registration process. 

Endurance Sports Management has a NO REFUND policy. This is based on our policy to provide 15% of GROSS REVENUES to our charity partners. Insurance is available during the registration of each event. Please take advantage of this option should you wish to insure your entry fees.

Event Cancellation / Modification Policy - If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows:

1. Endurance Sports Management in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first. 2. Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between Endurance Sports Management and local officials 3. Financial: It is not financially feasible for Endurance Sports Management to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event. 4. Endurance Sports Management does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.

Event Shirts - Event shirts are NOT guaranteed to participants registering within 2 weeks of each event. Please register prior to 2 weeks prior to guarantee your race shirt.

Age Groups and Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers & top male and female masters. Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over & top 3 Clydesdale & Athena. Open Relay Division: Male, Female, and Co-ed.
