Course:  The course is a mix of flat and rollers with 1 good size climb. All distances start at the same time and all fuel stops will have water and electrolytes. Walkers, strollers, and dogs are welcome.  Walkers, dogs, and strollers are welcomed.

Kids Fun Run Course: This ½ mile Kids Fun Run is targeted for those 10 and under starting at 7:45am. The run will start by the rotary, along the sidewalk, down Main St. turn right on Summer St, right on Taylor St. where the kids will finish under the inflatable finish arch.  This category doesn’t include a race t-shirt, but all kids will receive a finishers medal. If your child is under 15 and wishes to participate in the 5K/10K and the Kids Fun Run please sign he/she in the Youth Under 15 category so he/she will receive an official race time. 

Packet Pickup/Race Day Reg: 6:30-8AM at Saugus Center in front of the Town Hall.

Kids Fun Run: $10 (No t-shirt)
(Price increase +$5 on 3/1 and +$5 on race day)

Swag: Participants will receive custom designed race bibs and finisher medals.
Shirts will be guaranteed to the first 250 registered and a post event Memorial Day Parade that commences at 9:30AM.

1st, 2nd and 3rd M/F in each age group: Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

More about Scott: Scott was on his second deployment as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, having previously served in Fallujah in 2005. He was killed in action as a result of a roadside bomb on the morning of April 2, 2006 in Ramadi, Iraq.

Beneficiary: 100% of the event proceeds will be allocated to CPL Scott J. Procopio Memorial Scholarship program to provide high school seniors with academic scholarships.
