_ The 2018 Bullard's Beach Run:

Celebrate the New Year with the 44th Annual Bullard’s Beach Run!

Brought to you by South Coast Running Club and the Southern Coos Health Foundation

The 44th annual Bullard’s Run is on Sun., Jan. 7, 2018 at 2pm at the Bullard’s Beach State Park.  For the first time, the run will be sponsored by the Southern Coos Health Foundation, which is the fundraising arm of Bandon’s Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center. The run is hosted in partnership with the South Coast Running Club. The event features a 10K run, a 5K run, and a 1 mile kids’ run. 

All groups start at the meeting yurt in the Bullard’s Beach campground area. The 10K route goes out to the Coquille Lighthouse and back. 

There is also a tee-shirt exchange so runners should bring a worn, but not worn-out shirt (gently used) to exchange with fellow runners. All shirts left over will be donated to the Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center for use for discharged patients.

Fees for the 1 mile kids run are $3 for SCRC members and $5 for non-members,  the fees for the 5K and 10K runs are $10 for members and $20 for non- members.  There is also a member family rate of $15 for 2&3 person families, and $5 for each additional member.   

Proceeds from the event will go toward purchasing new IV pumps for the medical-surgical floor, the emergency department, and the surgical suite at Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center.

Bullard's Beach State Park.  Registration is at the Yurt just inside the campground as you enter the park.
