_ The 2018 Travis Burkhart Foundation Steps for Hope Half Marathon:
The Travis Burkhart Foundation strives to bring hope and support to those facing a sudden or prolonged injury, illness, or diagnosis. To date we have gave support to 375+ individuals, gifted 15 iPads to individuals with special needs and gifted over $100,000.
The half marathon is at the Plainville Park in Plainville, IN (12 2nd St.) and will begin at 8:30 am (EST), and the Kid's 1 mile Fun Run will begin at 9:00am (EST). The race begins and ends at the Plainville Park. The kid's run will be within the park.
There will be water stations at miles 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. Porta potties will be available between miles 5 and 6 and by mile 8. Also there will be fruit, bagels. chocolate milk for the participants after the race.
*PACKET PICK UP AND RACE DAY INFO*
Packet pick will be on Thursday April 5th and Friday April 6th from 6pm-8pm (EST) at the Plainville Park.
If you are a part of a 2-person relay team, we will have someone help shuttle you to and from the halfway mark.
Each participant will receive a participation medal, and we will award the overall female winner, overall male winner, and winning relay team.
We encourage you to have your family and friends come cheer you on along the course. The more the merrier!
