 _ 2018 Riverbluff Triathlon & Aquabike:

If you're looking for a scenic venue, a fast but challenging course, and awesome post-race activities, look no further. The Riverbluff Triathlon, one of the Southeast's premier multi-sport events, is being lauded for its uniqueness, personal touches, and attractiveness to both veterans and beginners alike. We want to build a sense of community with this race and we would love to have you join us in 2018 for one of the fastest growing triathlons in the country. Enjoy the live music, interactive custom shirts, church service post race and delicious food in what we believe is the best post-race experience you'll find. We also invite you to meet and engage with our participants as we feature them leading up to race day in our Athlete Profiles, as well as interacting through our Facebook Event Page

Course Information:

Sprint Distance: 400 meter swim, 14 mile bike, 5k run

Olympic Distance: 1500 meter swim, 40k bike, 10k run

The swim will take place in the scenic Cumberland River, maximizing down stream and paths of least resistance.  This section of the river has very little current so swim times will be fast.  View sprint swim course online.  View olympic swim course online.

The bike is set up to be fast.  Sprint participants will ride out Hwy 12 to the Davidson County line and back, with Olympic participants making 2 loops.  View sprint bike course online.  View olympic bike course online.

The run takes you out to the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail where you'll be surrounded by the sounds of nature and color of wildflowers.  The Bicentennial Trail is flat and shaded, making it an ideal course for the run.  View sprint run course online.  View olympic run course online. (sprint racers may get to run the Trail in 2018 as we're working on a possible new route)
