_ The 11th Annual Silverlake Triathlon:
The 11th annual Silverlake Sprint and Olympic Triathlons will take place at scenic Southwyck Lake Park located in suburban Pearland, TX, just 25 minutes south of Houston on Sunday, May 27th, 2018. The beautiful man-made lake is the perfect backdrop for the 400 meter Sprint and 1,500 meter Olympic Australian-style swim courses. The bike and run courses are flat and fast, winding around Southwyck Lake Park and through the surrounding tree-lined esplanades of the west Pearland Silverlake neighborhoods. The Olympic bike and run courses are 2 loops of the Sprint courses allowing family members and spectators to cheer you on to your new PR during the swim, bike and run segments of both events! For families with small children, playground equipment and a moonwalk are available at the race site (adult supervision is required). The event also includes a post-race festival complete with food, music and Sprint and Olympic award ceremonies.

Location: Southwyck Lake Park – 2600 Shelby (at Northfork Drive) Drive, Pearland, TX, 77584.
Directions: Southwyck Lake Park is located 1 block South of FM 518 (aka Broadway) between County Road 90 and County Road 89 (aka Old Chocolate Bayou). From Houston, take Hwy 288 South past Beltway 8 and exit FM 518. Take FM 518 and travel east to race day parking at 9330 Broadway (aka FM 518) which is just past County Road 90.
Race Day Parking: Available at 9330 Broadway (FM 518) just past County Road 90 on your right. Note there is a short 15 minute walk to the Southwyck Lake Park from the parking lot. Please do not park at area schools because they are often utilized on Sunday mornings for church services.
