This is the First Annual Whitewater Winterfest Frigid 5K. The race is part of Whitewater Winterfest which is held from January 19-20 in St. Charles, MN. The course winds through town, taking advantage of the many hills available. It starts with a large uphill climb, followed by a long gradual descent, and ending with one final up hill a kilometer from the finish. Each participant will recieve a Whitewater Winterfest Frigid 5K mug and is encouraged to stay to enjoy a warm drink and door prizes after the race has concluded. Other fun events are also taking place that weekend as part of Whitewater Winterfest.
Event details and schedule
- The course starts and finishes at The Garage and winds through the City of St. Charles.
- Bib pick-up will begin at 7:30 am and end at 8:45 am.
- The race begins at 9:00 am, participants are encouraged to arrive early for bib pick-up.
- Parking at The Garage is limited. Please plan on carpooling or parking on the street nearby.
- The race will be held outside so dress appropriately. Check the Whitewater Winterfest Facebook page for announcements about weather as we get closer to the event.
