CENTRAL KENTUCKY TRIATHLON RACE SERIES

Back again for the 2011 racing season! We are proud to announce this triathlon race series that includes three premier sprint triathlons in the Central Kentucky area! We established this series in order to continue to support the growth of the sport of triathlon in our region!

We are proud to be the first race in the CENTRAL KENTUCKY TRIATHLON RACE SERIES. The series includes 3 sprint races: Markey Race for Women's Cancer Triathlon, Lame Duck Try-Athlon, and the Susan Bradley-Cox Tri for Sight. (This series only applies to the triathlon, not the duathlon races). See our website (www.markeyraceforwomenscancer.com) for further details.

NOTE: Registration for the Markey Race for Women's Cancer Triathlon and checking "Yes" to be considered for the CENTRAL KENTUCKY TRIATHLON RACE SERIES does NOT guarantee you a spot in the Lame Duck Try-Athlon or the Tri for Sight. In addition to marking "Yes", you must also register for these races individually and complete all three triathlon events. Don't forget to register EARLY for the Lame Duck Try-Athlon and the Tri for Sight. These two races tend to sell out.

Every participant that signs up for all three races and finishes each race will be automatically entered as a participant in the series (you must be registered by August 26th for the Susan Bradley-Cox Tri for Sight to be eligible for the race series due to t-shirt deadlines). As stated, entry to this series is FREE! The awards ceremony for this series will be held at the series finale, the Tri for Sight. Every participant in the series will receive a free t-shirt, plus an entry into a drawing for FREE triathlon gear!!! Awards will be given out to the top five male and female overall finishers. Overall winners are determined by total time of all three races, and the participant with the lowest combined time will be named the winner!
